About us

My name is Izzy, owner and head groomer of The Canine Parlour, where behaviour comes before beauty and grooming is built on passion and patience. I offer calm, welfare-first dog grooming in a low-pressure environment, with every appointment tailored to the individual dog. I welcome all dogs and specialise in rescue, working, and nervous dogs who may struggle in rushed or overstimulating salon settings. Understanding canine behaviour is at the heart of how I work. Time is given for dogs to settle, breaks are encouraged where needed, and force is never used. My focus is not only on achieving a well-finished groom, but on creating a positive, respectful experience that supports each dog’s emotional wellbeing. I work by appointment only and limit the number of dogs I groom each day to ensure every dog receives the care, attention, and patience they deserve.
